About Miss World

Founded in 1951

Founded in London in 1951 by Eric Morley, Miss World is the world's longest-running international pageant. Over seven decades, it has grown into a global platform celebrating women from every continent and championing humanitarian work through its Beauty with a Purpose initiative — which to date has raised hundreds of millions for children's causes worldwide.
