Beauty with Purpose is the humanitarian heart of Miss World. In Finland it means year-round, hands-on work: conservation in the north, literacy and integration support in the south, Baltic Sea protection in the archipelago, and sport for girls in municipalities where clubs struggle to reach them. Every contestant leads or joins a project, and the work continues long after the crown is awarded.
Forests for Tomorrow

Contestants join planting days with municipal schools in Lapland, working alongside forestry professionals so pupils learn how Finnish boreal forests regenerate, why mixed species matter, and how carbon is stored in northern soil. Each planting site is revisited in later seasons so classes can follow the growth of the stand they planted.

Clean-up days on archipelago islands are paired with short talks on how plastics break down in brackish water and reach the food chain. Collected waste is sorted and recorded so volunteers can see which materials return to the same shores season after season.
Sisu Sport

- Keep girls in sport through the teenage years by removing cost and equipment barriers.

Free skiing, skating and team-sport sessions run through the winter with borrowed equipment, so families are not priced out. Contestants coach and mentor alongside local clubs, and the programme focuses on municipalities where organised youth sport is hardest to reach.
